Summary:  Direct and control warehousing activities to ensure on time delivery of quality products to the Company’s customers.

 Duties and Responsibilities include;

  • Communicate and support Pre-Delivery Inspection section to make sure that materials are control at pre-stage location with adequate inventory as defined in the standard.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining  effective and efficient process flow of Shipping and Receiving
  • Control and maintain shipping quality – no mis-shipment, correct quantity, correct destination, correct part number  
  • Implement and applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical reporting and processes
  • Direct containment activity to prevent outflow by using quality tools and techniques
  • Order processing
  • MRO procurement for TDC supplies and purchases
  • Finished Goods Inventory Control. Establish and control levels, expediting product, etc.
  • Component Consolidation of southbound components to FTdM from US and international suppliers.
  • Manage local HR including selection, reviewing performance, motivation and morale.
  • Expense Control
  • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Developing Shipping and Receiving Objectives and establishing monitoring of KPI
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
  • Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
  • Directs rework of damaged or material.
  • Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent work experience from four-year College or university required together with a minimum of five years experience working in automotive industry preferably in the area of  process improvement and warehouse operations. Effective leadership skills are critical with the ability to gain trust and respect from peers,

subordinates and upper management


Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Inventory software.
